1960s glamour and footwear fashion is the inspiration behind Buck, the third addition to our Midi collection. Beginning as a shoe wedge and ending as toy racing car, Buck has a strikingly simple body shape that was originally designed in wood (maintaining its simple form when remodeled into plastic). Just like the rest of our Midi range, the beauty of Buck lies in its simplicity: a pure shape on wheels, with the addition of bold graphics to bring it to life.
Reminiscent of the early racing cars of the 20s and 30s, yet with a definite nod to the fashion era of the 60s, Buck will bring a touch of glamour to your toy box or shelf. A Playforever classic, to be treasured for generations.
Speeding through the hills of Tuscany, warm breeze on the open roads lined with lush vineyards and silver olive groves, our Viglietta racing car personifies freedom and liberty: memories of carefree summer days and wild abandonment. Just like Malibu, Viglietta is slightly smaller than the rest of our collection, but every bit as eye-catching.
With a smooth, curved shape and sleek Italian styling, Viglietta is so much more than just a toy car, it is an object of beauty that can make memories; memories to be shared for generations to come.
An American muscle car, make it bigger, faster, stronger. Detroit carmakers saw what the hot rodders were doing in the late 60's and started bringing these ideas to the workingman. Steal a few ideas from Italian supercars and the muscle car was born. Popular culture stole it back and has never let it go, badass rebellion and freedom. We can't think of a type of car that gets customised more as people express their inner rebel.
Leadbelly is our homage to the muscle car, brutally simple, minimalist lines, lowered over some of the fattest tires we have ever made. Leadbelly sits in the Verve range, and just like a muscle car is built to be tough and last a lifetime with a beautiful shine. Watch this space, there could be more...
Straight out of 1960s New York, our Maverick Heat vehicles are a bold representation of the famous ‘slab-sided’ vehicles of the era. Racing
through busy streets, lights flashing and sirens screaming; with distinctive flat sides and super large surface areas, this was a time for boldness and confidence in design.
A hip, cool, statement piece that takes us back to the days of cop shows and the streets of New York, Maverick Heat is a toy to be treasured by all ages.
Luft was inspired by a very chic 1985 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Targa that Playforever's founder Julian Meagher owned while living in Florence, Italy for 2 years. This car in a beautiful shade of ivory was perfect for buzzing around the hills of Tuscany and most certainly made every school run an absolute pleasure.
Embracing the era of 1950s rockabilly chic, Clyde is modern twist on the classic hot rod American cars. Rolled up capris and bright Mary Janes; halter necks and hair scarves in top knots, just like the rest of our Midi collection, Clyde's design takes inspiration from bold, iconic fashion of days gone by. Originally created in wood (and maintaining its simple form when remodeled into plastic), the beauty of Clyde lies in its simplicity: a pure shape on wheels, with the addition of bold graphics to bring it to life.
Cool, hip and totally rock'n'roll, our stunning Clyde racing car is real head-turner, much like the hot rod cars upon which it is modelled. A Playforever classic, to be treasured for generations.
EGG ROADSTER featuring PILOT KARLOS Scrambler, Sunnysider and Hardy make up the Egg Roadster super-trio. Pilot Karlos making his first appearance sitting all snug in his crazy-wild egg shaped racer. It’s amazing to think that this style was a direct spin off from the concepts created in our collaboration with Hugo Boss in 2017.
Now, Rufus (Dog Car) has a fierce competitor and he will need to wear his best game face. Let’s talk about those crazy wheels! The thinking behind the extravagant shape is an amalgamation of the beefy 80’s yo-yo and rally car wheels of the same era and yes, they are as impossibly deep as we could make them and to give them an even wider stance we’ve added that exaggerated lip. We call these wheels the 5 spoke wacky classics wrapped in Sunray rubber. Anyway, let’s not waffle. Line up Rufus and Karlos on the grid and let’s get racing.

Ken is the spirit of a man caught up in the beautiful and chaotic 1960's 24 hour endurance racing that eventually claimed his life. At Playforever we wanted to pay homage to the mountain of courage and heart, Ken Miles.
Back in the sixties super cars were voluptuous beaten aluminum shells, with supermodel curves, organic shapes that looked like they had been sculpted out of marble. But, in Italy there was a new generation of designers working all hours on radical new ideas that seemed to be straight out of the future. So started the era of unworldly 70’s concept cars which were basically wedges on wheels, all angles and edges with skins stretched between them. Roof heights were dropped to windowsill level, you practically sat on the floor, windscreens and bonnets shared the same flat plane. Always with a V12 beast that felt like it was screaming right behind your head. A lot of these concepts to most people are forgotten, but one became the poster on every boy's wall in the 80’s. It is hard to understate the influence these cars have had on popular culture, not just in automotive exteriors, but Sci-Fi movies, fighter jets, speed boats and many more recognisable forms in our lives. UFO is our celebration of dreaming big, and radical change.

Back in the 70s, F1 racing was a dangerous, high speed game. Cars were fast, drivers were furious and competition was intense.
The Velocita collection by Playforever was inspired by the F1 scene of this era. Rubber tyres, stream-lined shapes and vibrant, shiny colours make this one of the coolest cars they have ever made! Its miniature size is perfect for kids, but it looks equally striking on the shelf or mantlepiece too. A real collector's piece.
Just like all Playforever products, Velocita Jean is not only beautifully designed, it is built using the finest quality materials to last a lifetime.
A classic heirloom treasure that can be passed on and played with for generations. Also available in 3 other styles.
We started designing the form of Luft without any details whatsoever apart from the wrap-around Targa band which seemed to be the way to go. So, we put all our balls on and went for it knowing full well that countless 911 fans and car designers would be scrutinising our work. Luckily we pulled it off and we are very happy with how it turned out. We plan to make another 911 based on the 80's icon the 930 turbo and we might even make it a slant-nose with a double-scale whale tail. Have a look at our Instagram feed for some more on that.
Meagher's Targa has now been sold to a lovely Danish family who I'm sure will care for her and keep her in beautiful condition.

Mini Speedy is a toy car in its simplest, most organic form. Taking its smooth, curved shape - a shape that conveys movement and fluidity even when parked on the shelf - we have split it into smaller segments that help to define and showcase further its organic lines, playing with colour and form in a brand new way.
The result is an object of beauty that is not only harmonious to the eye, but a joy to play with (and being slightly smaller than our Midi and Classic collections, little hands can easily hold it too). Reminiscent of the classic Lemans racing cars of the 1930s, our Mini Speedy car is a true design classic, to be cherished by all ages for generations to come.
